What is WCFDFILE?
WCFDFILE is a FREEWARE utility that generates a text listing of all
file area paths as to include all secondary paths. The output file
is capable of being read by FRONT DOOR as a search index for FILE
REQUESTS.
Disclaimer -
YOUR USE OF WCFDFILE.EXE INIDCATES YOUR AGREEMENT WITH THE FOLLOWING
TERMS. THE AUTHOR, TIM KILGORE, WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY
DAMAGES CAUSED BY WCFDFILE.EXE. YOU USE WCFDFILE.EXE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
How to Use WCFDFILE -
WCFDFILE searches the current directory for FILEAREA.DAT, which means
that the program should be executed from your main Wildcat! subdirectory.
WCFDFILE accepts a single command line augument, the path and name of
an output file. If this is not provided, WCFDFILE will generate a file
named FDFILE.LST in the current subdirectory. Here are some examples:
WCFDFILE C:\FD\SEARCH.LST
WCFDFILE C:\FD\FLSEARCH.CTL
WCFDFILE is butt-ugly, but it works <g>.
